Where: Downtown Freeport Cruise Route: Check out the map!
When: Lots Open at 4 PM : Cruise is 7 PM - 10 PM
Cruise begins with 2 Laps from the Library Lot's Antique Cars!
A showcase of cars from all eras of history. Cars can sit in the lot, like an ordinary car show, but from 7 to 10 the streets are closed and cars can cruise throughout the downtown as spectators line the streets to see the cars parade through.
Fee: No charge for cars to cruise;
No charge for spectators to watch;
$10, for Pre-registered Reserved Spots, $5, the night of the cruise until lots are full.
Lots: Three lots:
Library Lot - Historic Auto's Only
West Lot - Any Cars - Near the Live Stage
East Lot - Any Cars -Great Music from Pittsley DJ's & Near the High Performance Events
Contests: Go-Get-R Towing & Recovery Muffler Rapping Contest:
Winner makes the most noise, judged by applause.
When: 6:30 to 7:30 pm
Where: Stephenson Street between State and Adams.
Dan’s Route 66 Service Burn-Out Contest:
When: 7:30 to 9:00 pm
Where: Stephenson Street between State and Adams.
Winner makes the most smoke, judged by applause.
